If you or someone you know likes wearing scarves, join us Friday, November 10th at the Cuba Library for Silk Scarves with Julie Mader and make your own one of a kind scarf. This program is open to anyone 13 and older.
The first program is for Watercolor scarves (as is being demonstrated in the photo at left). This class is at 10 a.m. and will cost $5. The fee is $10 if you choose to have your scarf steam set.
The second program is for Crepe de Chine Tartan Scarves (similar to the photo on the front page). This class is at 1:30 p.m. and there is a $10 fee for this class, and all scarves for this class will be steam set.
Steam setting helps to preserve white areas as well as resulting in slightly brighter colors. Steam set scarves will be available at the library 7-10 days after the class.
Registration is required, so stop in or call us at (585)968-1668 to sign up.
