Not Your Parent’s Home Ec Group – Under $5 DIY Projects to Share

If you have an interest in learning green/self-sufficient practices, join us Wednesday, March 7th at 5:30 p.m. for Under $5 DIY Projects to Share. The Not Your Parent’s Home Ec group for teens and adults will meet once a month on the First Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Each month will feature a new topic in a variety of interest areas, some dealing with food, some with products for the home, and even some for the holidays. This is intended as a cooperative group with members learning and teaching. Registration is required, so please stop in or call us at (585)968-1668 to sign up.

6 Week Drawing Course

Anyone who is a freshman (14 yrs old) in high school or older is invited to sign up for our 6 week drawing course on Saturdays, February 24 – March 31 from 1:30 – 3 pm. This workshop is for individuals seeking to expand their drawing skills for leisure or wanting to apply to accredited art or technical schools! There is a $10 fee for supplies.

Majestic Murals – Mini Glass Mosaics

Those with artistic interests are invited to sign up for one of our classes Saturday, November 4 with artist Rise Peacock to make a mini glass mosaic. Class 1 is from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., and Class 2 is from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.  so hopefully one of these times fits your schedule! This class is open to anyone ages 12 & up.
