Craft Class

Painting with Alcohol Ink

Join us Tuesday, July 24th from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. for Painting with Alcohol Inks, a hands-on class with Jennifer Godbout. There is a $5 materials fee for the class, which is open to ages 11 & up (those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).

Registration is required, so please stop in or call the library to sign up.  At this time, the class is full, but you can ask to be put on the wait list.

The class will introduce tips and techniques for working with a unique, fluid and vibrant medium – alcohol inks. Participants will be painting on Yupo, tile and palette paper. Alcohol ink dries quickly, and you will come away with 5 completed works of your own, as well as handouts covering supply lists and sources, examples of the techniques covered in class, and links for further exploration.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Tri-County Arts Council
