Pouch Weaving

You don’t need expensive equipment to make this pouch – just a piece of cardboard and some yarn! During this class on Saturday, June 22 at 1 pm at the Cuba Library, local artisan Christine Zeitler will show you how to make your loom, and you’ll have time to make a small pouch to bring home with you. This simple weaving technique can be expanded upon after class to weave bigger bags of your own design. For ages 10 and up. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by participating adult. Registration required, so please contact the library at 585-968-1668. There is a $5 materials fee.

The program is funded in part by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program with support from Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Tri-County Arts Council.
