Craft Class

Beginner Watercolor Holiday Cards

Have you ever wanted to create your own watercolor cards for the holidays? You can paint each one individually, or create one image (any size) and use it to have cards made with an online printing service. It’s easier than you think. Call to sign up for our Watercolor Holiday Card class for beginners on Saturday, November 10 from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm. This workshop with Lisa Robinson is for ages 16 & up will demo at least 5 holiday designs and variations, mostly non-denominational (candles, pine trees, holly, winter forest, ornament, wreath, etc). You’ll learn how to use table salt to create snow effects as well. We’ll also cover the basics of using Vistaprint or other online sites to design a card, upload your image, and add exactly the message/text you like in the color and font you prefer, front and inside.

Note: The instructor can make a high-res photograph of your painting so you can upload it and use it later. Additional fees can be added if participants would like her to order the cards for them and have them shipped to their houses.

This program is funded through a donation from the Friends of Cuba Library, Inc.
