Earth Day Observance on the Genesee Valley Greenway State Park

Join us on Thursday, April 22 from 3:15 – 5:00 pm for an Earth Day Observance On The Genesee Valley Greenway State Park – Presented by: The Palmer Opera House & The Cuba Circulating Library. Pre-Registration is necessary for this event. We are limited to 20 Students for the craft activity BUT as long as you are socially distanced and masked there is no maximum number for walking on the trail. At 3:15 Cherilyn Wise will read “The Very Impatient Caterpillar” by Ross Burach, followed by a quick walk on the trail. Youth may gather pinecones, twigs, stones etc. and return to the gazebo for a craft activity: “A Self Portrait” made out of clay & the items collected on the walk.
Everyone must wear masks and practice social distancing.
Level of difficulty – easy to moderate ; Approx. Distance: 2.5 miles
Bathrooms are not available – Bathroom use will be permitted at The Palmer Opera House – 12 West Main Street Cuba, NY
Special instructions: Weather Permitting – Event will be postponed to a later date due to inclement weather.
