This workshop on Monday, July 18 from 1 – 2 pm is the favorite workshop from all the Erie Canal programs. Artifacts gathered and collected over decades from the early 1800’s – 1900’s are put directly into the hands of young scholars to examine, explore, and question as they learn about the development and impact of the Erie Canal on New York State. The Traveling Museum brings the Erie Canal to life, and directly into the hands of young learners. This program is free and open to children in grades 1 – 5, but registration is required. Please stop in or contact the Cuba Library to sign up.
Programming was made possible by the generous support of Simple Gifts Fund, Young Audiences of Western New York, and New York State Council on the Arts.
