DESCRIPTION:Sign up for our BLS: Basic Life Support Training course on Frid
 ay\, July 25 from 1 - 4 pm at the Cuba Library. The Basic Life Support (BL
 S) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals th
 e knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emerg
 encies in adult child and infant patients. Consistent with the 2015 AHA Gu
 idelines for CPR/ECC BLS is the foundational CPR/AED program typically req
 uired for healthcare providers and public safety professionals. Through th
 e use of lecture skills demonstration practice and case-based emergency re
 sponse scenarios with a focus on team-based response BLS builds the key cr
 itical thinking problem solving and team dynamic skills that are needed to
  drive better patient outcomes. Upon successful completion of the course l
 earners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with 
 anytime anywhere access to certificate and training history.\n\nRegistrati
 on is required. While geared toward health & safety professionals\, anyone
  ages 14 & up is invited to sign up for the course. There is a $5 fee to a
