DESCRIPTION:It's time once again for our pumpkin decorating contest! The Cu
 ba Circulating Library is hosting our 5th Annual Book Character Pumpkin De
 corating Contest that begins on Tuesday\, October 14\, and lasts through T
 uesday\, October 28. Decorate a pumpkin (or gourd) as a book character or 
 with a literary theme and drop it off at the Cuba Library’s front desk f
 or display from October 14 – October 28. Library staff & patrons will vo
 te for the best literary pumpkins on October 29. The winners will receive 
 a prize!\n\nContest Rules:\n• The library cannot accept carved pumpkin s
 ubmissions. Only painted and/or decorated whole pumpkin submissions may be
  entered into the contest. Please leave a circle on the bottom of your pum
 pkin unpainted!\n• Submissions should be a character from a book\, comic
 \, or graphic novel\, or themed after a book/book series.\n• Submissions
  will not be accepted before Tuesday\, October 14\, at 10 am.\n• Contest
  submissions must be turned into library staff by Tuesday\, October 28. La
 te pumpkin submissions will not be accepted.\n• One winner will be chose
 n from each of the following age categories: young kids (ages 7 and under)
 \, tweens (ages 8-12)\, teens (ages 13-18)\, and adults (ages 19 and up).\
 n• All pumpkins must be picked up by Thursday\, October 30 at 8 pm. Pump
 kins that are not picked up by this time will be disposed of.\n\nFor more
