SUMMARY:Costume Creation Tips
DESCRIPTION:Make-up\, prosthetics\, props\, and masks\, oh my! These can ra
 ise costuming to elicit the response you are looking for. Teens and adults
  (ages 13 & up) are invited to come to the Cuba Library on Thursday\, Octo
 ber 9 from 6 - 8 pm to play\, build and experiment to create the look you 
 want without the expense of purchasing a generic costume. From armor const
 ructed using painted decorative foam attached to shoulder pads to fabric t
 hat gives the illusion of chain mail\, costumes can be constructed using a
  variety of materials around your home. A shield can be constructed with c
 ardboard\, a packing foam sheet\, pipe insulation\, webbing (for the grips
 ) and duct tape. Daggers and swords can be made out of pool noodles\, PVC 
 pipe duct tape and foam\, sword hangers from cardboard\, leather or facsim
 ile. Another costume required only decorative touches to clothing hanging 
 in the closet. It was a big hit with the cast of One Piece. Bring material
 s you wish to work with\, or use what we have available. Space is limited
