SUMMARY:Meet the Parrots
DESCRIPTION:The Cuba Circulating Library invites the community to Meet the 
 Parrots on Saturday\, April 18\, at 1:00 p.m. Mike and Starr Shay will bri
 ng their remarkable parrots to the library for a fun and educational after
 noon. Visitors will have the chance to meet three feathered guests: River 
 Blue\, a Blue-Throated Macaw\; Jaz\, a Goffin’s Cockatoo\; and Bodhi\, a
 n Alexandrine Ringneck. Mike and Starr will share where each of these bird
 s originates in the wild\, what life is like caring for parrots as pets 
 — and if the birds are feeling cooperative\, attendees may even get to s
 ee a trick or two! This program is free and open to all ages. Children mus
 t be accompanied by an adult. Please note that while these birds are belov
 ed pets\, their wings are not clipped — guests are encouraged to be calm
  and attentive around them.
