DESCRIPTION:Kids ages 6+ (under 6 need an adult to assist) are invited to j
 oin Jessie Lampack Slattery\, local homeschool facilitator\, art and yoga 
 youth educator\, on Wednesday\, November 22 from 10:30am - 12:30 in the co
 mmunity room at Cuba Library for a morning of reflecting on gratitude and 
 working on a special art piece or two for their family's Thanksgiving tabl
 e. We will be sharing a book\, moving our bodies\, and then exploring some
  crafting methods using clay and beeswax to create a candle and holder to 
 light with love in their hearts. Kids will also have the opportunity to le
 arn to fold an 8 pointed window star to hang in their window as this seaso
 n of holidays begins. Space is limited\, registration is required. Please

 ery is a local registered yoga teacher\, homeschool mama of four\, and dev
 oted patron of the arts as well as to the Cuba Library! She holds a fine a
 rts degree from Alfred University specializing in alternative process phot
 ography and water based media painting\, as well as a previous art educati
 on certification from Buffalo State College.\n\nThis project is made possi
 ble with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program\, a regrant p
 rogram of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the O
 ffice of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered 
 by the Arts Council for Wyoming County.
