  can tap into the many benefits that the hula hoop has to offer. Exercise\
 , expression\, excitement\; this plastic circle truly serves as a multi-ge
 nerational source of wellness and playfulness. Learn about the history of 
 the hula hoop and the modern hoop dance movement\, as well as the physical
 \, emotional\, and social benefits of hoop dance. See a variety of hoops a
 nd learn the appropriate uses for each. Then try a fool-proof beginner les
 son breaking down the basic fundamentals of hooping. Guests may also see a
  show demonstrating the possibilities of hula hoop dance.\n\n\nThis progra
 m is funded by a grant from Allegany County United Way.
