SUMMARY:Loosen Up With Watercolor and Be Drawn In
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, October 28 for a watercolor class with Th
 eresa Heinz. In this class\, participants will explore the wet on wet tech
 nique to create a background layer of color and then using a small brush o
 r pen\, “draw in” detail and sharper images. Weather permitting\, the 
 class will attempt to work outside. Bring a folding chair\, containers for
  water (plastic yogurt containers\, etc.) weather appropriate footwear and
  jacket. There is a $5 fee for the class\, which is open to those ages 13 
 & up. Registration is required and space is limited\, so please contact th
 e library at cuba@stls.org or call (585) 968-1668 to sign up.\n\nThe class
  will be taught by Theresa Heinz\, a Cuba native who studied under local a
 rtist Chet Swier while in junior high school. Theresa is recently retired 
 after 31 years of teaching high school art. She has pieces in many private
  collections and has had several one-woman shows of paintings and collages
 .\n\n\nThis project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Communi
 ty Regrants Program\, a regrant program of the New York State Council on t
 he Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York St
 ate Legislature and administered by the Arts Council for Wyoming County.\n
