  Carol Crossed\, President and Founder of the Susan B Anthony Birthplace M
 useum\, for a commemoration of women's suffrage\, particularly poignant in
  this election year. Crossed will deliver a distinctive presentation of 10
 0-year-old suffrage postcards from a personal collection presented in her 
 2019 publication\, "Vintage Tweets."\nCrossed distinguishes the most widel
 y circulated postcards featuring themes such as suffrage\, abolition\, and
  temperance\, along with an in-depth exploration of the artists associated
  with this significant era.\nVintage Tweets is a poignant\, amusing and in
 sightful collection of 100 year old suffrage postcards\, the social media 
 of the late 19th and early 20th century. Author Carol Crossed’s entertai
 ning narrative explores the meaning behind the illustrations which represe
 nt both domestic and political views of the woman’s vote.\nIn 2006\, Car
 ol Crossed purchased and restored the birthplace of Susan B. Anthony in Ad
 ams\, Massachusetts. The home is now a historic house museum honoring the 
 work of this early suffragist.
