Book Discussion Groups

Page Turners

The Page Turners Book Discussion Group meets for about an hour at 1:30 p.m. on the second or third Wednesday of each month, September through June. The group reads literary fiction, classics and popular nonfiction. The discussions are led by a trained leader and are lively and fun! Let the Library staff know if you would like to participate and they will order the selected book for you. The planned books for the second half of 2022 are as follows:

Sept. 14 – “Oh William!” by Elizabeth Strout
Oct. 12 – “Ask Again, Yes” by Mary Beth Keane
Nov. 9 – “Open House” by Elizabeth Berg
Dec. 14 – “Breathing Lessons” by Anne Tyler
Jan. 11 – “The Lincoln Highway” by Amor Towles

That’s right, your library at a bar or coffee shop! Titles will include bestselling fiction and nonfiction by popular authors. Engage in great discussion while being able to enjoy appetizers, dinner, and drinks (although purchase is not necessary to participate in book club).
