Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost. However, some behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers to manage. Join us on Tuesday, March 28 from 11am – 12:30pm at the Cuba Library for a presentation from the Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York.  Learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease. Registration is requested but not required. Use the link at https://tinyurl.com/alzmentia to sign up. This program is arranged through Cuba Library, but please contact the Alzheimer’s Association at (800) 272-3900 if you have any questions about the program.
