Join the Wondermakers, an interactive storytelling duo who bring folktales from around the world to life. Come to the Cuba Library for Gardens of the Earth and celebrate the wondrous land! This is a 45 minute long program with three interactive stories for children ages 3 – 10 and their families. In the first story, Grandma goes to the garden for help she so she can escape from the leopard. The second story is about a gardener who tames the village goblin through kindness. The third story stars Sarah the Triceratops and her Dino friends! The dinosaurs all have differences but they learn to work together – each bringing their special skills to the table — to save their community from a drought and grow their gardens again. Colorful props and costumes, simple percussion instruments, puppets, and lots of audience participation bring the stories to life. This program is free and open to children of all ages.
