Book Discussion Groups
Page Turners
The Page Turners Book Discussion Group meets for about an hour at 1:30 p.m. on the second or third Wednesday of each month, September through June. The group reads literary fiction, classics and popular nonfiction. The discussions are led by a trained leader and are lively and fun! Let the Library staff know if you would like to participate and they will order the selected book for you. The planned books are as follows:

Books & Brews
The Cuba Library is pleased to announce a new monthly book group. Books & Brews will meet the fourth Thursday of every month at different establishments around town. That’s right, your library at a bar or coffee shop! Titles will include bestselling fiction and nonfiction by popular authors. Engage in great discussion while being able to enjoy appetizers, dinner, and drinks (although purchase is not necessary to participate in book club).

Former Book Clubs
The Book to Movie Book Group was a book club that met for about an hour at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. The group read a variety of titles that had recently or would soon be released as movies. The discussions were led by our library director and promised to be entertaining!
At this time, there are no further meetings planned. If you are interested in this group, please let the library staff know.
The Not Just for Kids Book Club was a reading group for adults who enjoy Young Adult and Juvenile literature. No need to hide the fact that you enjoy reading Harry Potter or Divergent! Join in with this group of like-minded adults who realize that some of the best literature is in the YA section of the library.
At this time, the group has no further meetings planned. If you are interested in this reading group, please let the library staff know, because we need more members before restarting the group.

Are you the parent or caregiver of a child under four? Want to talk about books written for adults and meet in a baby-friendly setting? Please join us! Copies of the monthly book are provided by the Cuba Library. All titles are 300ish pages or less. The meetings will take place in the children’s storytime room so your littles will have toys to keep them occupied while we chat. The planned book list is as follows:
