It’s the perfect time to start tomatoes from seed! Join the Ag Educator Cristian Acosta and the group of Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension at the Cuba Library to learn when and how to start seeds, care for seedlings, and set yourself up for a successful harvest. In past classes, the master gardeners have discussed topics such as trimming, blight and other diseases, and garden pests as well. The library will provide soil, seeds, and biodegradable planters—just bring your curiosity and get ready to grow. Learn how to grow tomatoes on Wednesday, April 8 at 6:30. This class is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please contact the Cuba Library at 585-968-1668 or cuba@stls.org to sign up.
