Join us on Tuesday, November 14 at 6:30 pm at Palmer Opera House for Americana: NYS and the Erie Canal with teaching artist, Judd Sunshine. Enrich your knowledge of a bygone era through song and story! This program focuses on music and folklore from New York State’s history with a special emphasis on the Erie Canal. Judd uses humor, great songs from the period and lots of audience participation in this fun-filled musical trip across the state. Perfectly complements 4th and 7th grade New York State social studies curriculum, yet fun enough for all ages to enjoy. Patrons of all ages are welcome to come out to the Palmer for this free performance.
