

Do you have an interest in mushrooms & mushroom foraging? Would you like to expand your knowledge and learn to grow your own mushrooms? Learn the concepts and general techniques behind mushroom cultivation using methods that are easily replicable at home and affordable. Sign up to join the class on Tuesday, July 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cuba Library. Licensed mushroom forager Samuel Warren will start with a slideshow presentation covering the concept, then discuss culturing techniques in a still air box, and inoculate a bag of substrate. Every person leaves with a bag of spawn. This class is free and open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Samuel Warren is a licensed mushroom forager in 13 states, a NYS licensed guide and head mycologist at Food Forest Fungi.
