Adults are invited to sign up for a basic sewing class at the Cuba Library on Saturday, February 14. There will be two shifts to allow more people to participate in this craft, so attendees will be asked to choose either the 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. shift on a first come, first served basis. Participants will be guided through the process of sewing a heart-shaped potholder with binding, and a small mug rug; the library will provide machines, thread, and insulated batting. The class is free, but participants must bring two fat quarters or half yard of fabric & a package of 1/2 inch double fold bias binding (please note that if you want to guarantee matching thread, you should bring that also).
