How to Plan Your Funeral

Talking about death can be difficult, but planning ahead is an important act of care for yourself and your loved ones. Taking the time to thoughtfully plan your funeral not only ensures your wishes are respected, but also helps ease the burden on family members during an emotional time.

Join us at the Cuba Library on Thursday, October 16 at 6:30 p.m. and learn How to Plan Your Funeral. This program, led by Funeral Director Mark Rinker, will provide participants with a basic guide to planning their own funerals, empowering them to make informed decisions and ensure their wishes are honored. Attendees will learn about the key steps involved in funeral planning, including choosing between burial and cremation, selecting service options, managing legal and financial considerations, and communicating plans with loved ones. Through this program, participants will gain the knowledge and resources needed to create a personalized funeral plan that reflects their values and provides peace of mind for themselves and their families.
This program is free and open to all, but registration is preferred. Please contact Cuba Library at (585)968-1668 or email cuba@stls.org to sign up.
