Ever wondered how honey becomes wine? Patrons ages 21 & older are invited to join us at the Cuba Library on Wednesday, September 30 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm as Erica Moses provides a hands-on introduction to mead-making, one of the oldest fermented beverages in the world. We’ll cover the basics of the process, ingredients, and equipment you need to start brewing at home. No experience necessary, just curiosity (and maybe a taste for honey wine). This program is free but in order to gauge participation registration is required. Please contact Cuba Library at (585) 968-1668 or email cuba@stls.org to sign up.
Erica Moses is a self-taught home cook, fermentation enthusiast, and rural homesteader who believes feeding people is a love language. She came to fermentation practically — looking for cost-effective, gut-healthy food solutions for her family, and never looked back. She now shares that knowledge through classes designed to make traditional fermentation techniques approachable for everyone.
