You’ve seen PowerPoint Parties online. Now Cuba Circulating Library is bringing one to life on Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30 pm — and everyone’s invited. Here’s how it works: pick a topic you’re passionate about (or obsessed with, or mildly fixated on), build a 5 minute slideshow at home, and come present it to a friendly crowd. Adults, teens, and tweens are all welcome. When you register, we’ll ask you to share your topic — because we’re already curious. Past PowerPoint Party topics at libraries around the country have included folk-punk music, the history of basketball, anime deep-dives, and one very persuasive case for why a teenager should get a Nintendo Switch. We can’t wait to see what Cuba brings. Free and open to all ages. Slides prepared in advance. Snacks provided. Registration required.
