Spectrum LGBT+ Teen Group

Spectrum, for ages 13-19, will meet the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cuba Library. The next meeting will be Monday, December 18th. Spectrum is a supportive group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT+) teens, as well as those who are questioning their identity, have LGBT+ friends or family members, or just care about LGBT+ issues.

Not Your Parent’s Home Ec Group – Soap Making

If you have an interest in learning green/self-sufficient practices, join us Wednesday, January 3rd at 5:30 p.m. for Soap Making. The Not Your Parent’s Home Ec group for teens and adults will meet once a month on the First Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Each month will feature a new topic in a variety of interest areas, some dealing with food, some with products for the home, and even some for the holidays. This is intended as a cooperative group with members learning and teaching. Registration is required, so please stop in or call us at (585)968-1668 to sign up.

creative-writingTeens ages 13 & up, if you are a writer and are looking for a group to give advice and critique your work, Teen Authors of Western New York (TAWNY)  invites you to join them the 3rd Monday of every month from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at the Cuba Library. TAWNY does not consist of professional authors and welcomes writers at any point in their creative journey.

Laptops and typewriters are welcome!


Literary Legos


This group is for grades 2nd & up and will meet the 2nd monday of each month from 3 – 4 p.m. The next meeting will be December 11th. Each week, you will listen to a story, then build a project based on that story. Each time, one person will be chosen as the winner of the “Best project like the story” and win a small prize. Fireside Knitters

knitHave you always wanted to learn how to knit or crochet? Are you experiencing trouble with a certain knitting or crochet project? Bring your questions and problems to the Cuba Library where a group of experienced needle workers meet weekly on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. by the fireplace.
