    Tween Programs

    Tweens (ages 9-12) will meet Mondays from 3:30 – 4 pm with 3 rotating clubs, STEAM on the 1st Monday of the month, Cooking on the 3rd Monday, and Journaling the 4th Monday. Registration is required, so please stop in or call (585)968-1668 to sign up. The library has several new STEAM games/tools that will be used for STEAM club, including Sphero SPRK+, & Cozmo, both of which are programmable robots, Osmo kits fit our current iPads and add the ability to play educational word games, math games, and spatial games, a MakeyMakey, which has the ability to turn virtually anything into a keyboard or game pad, and Snap Circuits,…

    After-school Explorers

    After-School Explorers will meet weekly on Thursdays beginning on Thursday, October 4th from 3-4pm. This group is for K-3 students and will feature a story time, STEAM activities, books, games, and fun! Registration is required, so please stop in or call 585.968.1668 to sign up!

    Journaling Club

    Journaling club will meet on the 4th Monday of each month starting in October, one group for teens and one group for tweens. Tweens 9-12 will meet from 3:30-4:30 time slot and Teens will meet between 6:30-7:30. Journaling club is less about what you write and more about the fact that you are writing (or drawing or painting) and expressing yourself. We will explore different journaling techniques such as bullet journaling and writing prompts. Join us to get creative and record your ideas, thoughts, and feelings. Registration is required, so please stop in or call the library at (585)968-1668.

    This month, the group will meet to discuss planning for a Comic Con this summer. Formerly Spectrum, this is a social and support group for LGBTQA+ teens. This group will be run by Rïse Peacock, local artist, advocate, and educator. The next meeting will take place April 25 at 4:00 pm.

    Anime Club

    Are you an Anime Fan? If you are between the ages of 13-18, Cuba Library has a club just for you: Anime Club. The group will meet the 1st Monday of every month (except during school breaks). The next meeting will be November 5th at 6:30 p.m. Registration is preferred, so please call (585)968-1668 or stop in to sign up.
