Paws to Read

Struggling readers in grades K-5 are invited to sign up for our program Tuesdays, Sept 26, Oct 3, 10 & 17 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. where they can practice their reading skills with a certified therapy dog. Registration is required, so please stop in or call (585)968-1668 to sign up.


creative-writingTeens ages 13 & up, if you are a writer and are looking for a group to give advice and critique your work, Teen Authors of Western New York (TAWNY)  invites you to join them the 3rd Monday of every month from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. at the Cuba Library. TAWNY does not consist of professional authors and welcomes writers at any point in their creative journey.

Laptops and typewriters are welcome!


Literary Legos


This group is for grades 2nd & up and will meet the 2nd monday of each month from 3 – 4 p.m., except for the 1st meeting which will be Monday, October 23. Each week, you will listen to a story, then build a project based on that story. Each time, one person will be chosen as the winner of the “Best project like the story” and win a small prize. knitHave you always wanted to learn how to knit or crochet? Are you experiencing trouble with a certain knitting or crochet project? Bring your questions and problems to the Cuba Library where a group of experienced needle workers meet weekly on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. by the fireplace.
