Learn to play the Dulcimer with Rachel Bell on Monday, July 10 at 4:30 p.m. at the Cuba Library. Anyone ages 5 & up is welcome to sign up. Ages 5-10 must be accompanied by an adult, and anyone 11 & older may sign up with an adult or on their own.

The class will be invited to join Peregrine Road on stage for a song or two at their concert starting at 7:45 p.m.

If you have always wanted to learn to make goat’s milk soap & cheese, sign up for a class taught by Stephanie Anger Saturday, July 8 from 1-4 p.m. at the Cuba Cultural Center across from the Cuba Library. There is a $15 fee for the class, and anyone age 15 & up is invited to sign up.

We are now taking sign ups for the Adult Summer Reading Program. The Adult Summer Reading Program at Cuba Library officially runs from June 26 – August 26. There will be weekly activity pages, weekly prizes, and a final prize drawing. Participants may earn entries by reading books and bringing their reading log to the library, by attending programs, or by completing activity sheets. All entries must be turned in by closing on Saturdays to be eligible for the week’s drawing. Participants may win one prize each week, and will still be entered in the final drawing. Stop in the library to sign up and get your reading log, as well as a list of events!
Cuba Library is now taking sign ups for the Summer Reading Program! The program officially runs from July 3 to August 17, but you may sign up at any time starting June 17. This year, we have an online Summer Reading Log that you can sign up to use to track your reading minutes. Children 12 & under should sign up here. Teens ages 13-19 should sign up here. If you would prefer, or you don’t have internet access at home, you can also sign up in the library and track your minutes with the calendars and report your time at the library each week just as we have done in the past. There will be weekly prize drawings, and participants will receive books and coupons for participating.
Make It @ Your Library, afternoons of Lego building and arts and crafts for those entering 1st grade & up will meet on Wednesdays, July 12- August 16 from 1-2 p.m. Registration is required to please stop in or call (585)968-1668 to sign up.
Cuba Library’s Summer Reading Program is beginning! Hey kids, our Drums & Dulcimers Class with Rachel Bell has spots open! The class is for those ages 5-8, and takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 31 – Thursday, August 3.
