Collage Flowers

Want to capture the beauty of summer flowers in a new and joyful way? Patrons ages 16 – adult are invited to an art class taught by Theresa Heinz on Saturday, May 17 from 9 am – 12 pm at the Cuba Library. Students will use found images, magazine pages, scrapbook papers, and Gelli printed papers created in this class to “paint with paper.” Create stunning floral images suitable for hanging or gifting. Participants should bring photos of flowers they would like to re-create to use as a reference. These may be images found in books, magazines or other sources, or photos they may taken themselves. Students will be provided 5″x 7″ canvas boards and all print making materials, paint, brushes and papers. Additionally, if students have scrapbook paper, decorative papers such as wrapping paper, brightly printed magazines, acrylic paint and brushes, they may bring any of these supplies. Please note : we have a second adult art class in May, so to allow access to as many interested patrons as possible, patrons may sign up for one and go on the wait list for the other.
