Adventure Begins at Your Library – Summer Reading 2024

Hawk Creek, founded in 1987, is one of the largest accredited non profit raptor centers in the East and receives no government funding. Located in East Aurora, New York, the Center houses a diverse, global collection of raptors and wildcats. The educators from Hawk Creek and their animals visited our summer program to teach us about wildlife conservation.

Doug “the Bubble Man” Rougeux. Funny-man Doug Rougeux entertained us with GIANT floating spheres (4-6 feet!), bubbles that bounce, and so much more!

Guide Jeremy Martin lead our nature hike on the Cuba Genesee Valley Greenway.

Sam Warren from Food Forest Fungi LLC and and Brandon Miller took patrons on a guided foray covering topics like mushroom anatomy, habitat and species identification.
