Kids ages 6+ (under 6 need an adult to assist) are invited to join Jessie Lampack Slattery, local homeschool facilitator, art and yoga youth educator, on Wednesday, November 22 from 10:30am – 12:30 in the community room at Cuba Library for a morning of reflecting on gratitude and working on a special art piece or two for their family’s Thanksgiving table. We will be sharing a book, moving our bodies, and then exploring some crafting methods using clay and beeswax to create a candle and holder to light with love in their hearts. Kids will also have the opportunity to learn to fold an 8 pointed window star to hang in their window as this season of holidays begins. Space is limited, registration is required. Please contact the library at (585)968-1668 or email email@example.com to sign up, or with any questions. Please bring a packed lunch.
Jessie Lampack Slattery is a local registered yoga teacher, homeschool mama of four, and devoted patron of the arts as well as to the Cuba Library!
